When the word: god is used,  we assume the god of the Old Testament.
The Old Testament is the foundation of the Abrahanic religions that includes:

• Judaism
• Christianity
• Islam

This god is therefore also known by the Jews as Yahweh and by the Muslims as Allah.
This god is more like a Superman-Warlord than it is a loving, peaceful  and caring entity.

This god is not to be confused with the god of the New Testament that has a far more spiritual meaning
